中性點接地電阻的特點：

中性點接地電阻的應用：

中性點接地電阻主要用於110KV以下的輸配電系統，例如城市配電網、大型工業園區、發電廠、海上平台配電系統及大型化工廠。

當電網中性點不接地運行時，即使系統的電容電流不大，也可能因單相接地而產生間歇性弧光過電壓，使健全相的電位升高至足以破壞其絕緣水平的程度，甚至形成相間短路。若在變壓器的中性點（或借用接地變壓器引出中性點）串接一電阻器，以泄放間歇性弧光過電壓中的電磁能量，則可降低中性點電位，並減緩故障相恢復電壓的上升速度，從而減少電弧重燃的可能性，抑制電網過電壓的幅值，並使具選擇性的接地保護得以實現。
